Woodberry to Accelerate Growth at Abeja
New CMO to support nonprofits after building world’s biggest brands
Abeja Solutions, a woman-owned direct mail fundraising company, deepens its bench of experts with the addition of Jazmine Woodberry, MA, APR.
Woodberry, an award-winning journalist and marketer, will serve as the company’s chief marketing officer overseeing strategic partnerships, brand communications, and product development. She also will bolster the Abeja editorial team with her experience in multi-media content strategy and storytelling for the biggest names in Silicon Valley.
“Brianna and I had the pleasure of hiring Jazmine at a national nonprofit early in her career. She was a standout then, with a heart for great causes, quick wit, and fierce writing chops, says Laura A. Ingalls, Abeja CEO. “We’re thankful the stars have aligned now to reunite the team and create even more value for Abeja’s nonprofit clients and our community.”
Over the last year, Woodberry transitioned from the tech sector back into the nonprofit realm. The second-generation Arizonan managed projects behind the scenes at Abeja, notably driving sales of the co-owners’ first book, “How to Fundraise by Mail: A Digital Native’s Guide,” and leading marketing communications around major events, such as AFP ICON.
“I've seen how marketing communications runs at all elevations and am excited to not only bring that knowledge to Abeja as a business, but also to nonprofit clients, helping them understand the importance of mail in today’s multichannel strategies,” says Woodberry.
