Terri Shoemaker

Fundraising Strategist


Terri wants all donors, big or small, to feel appreciated and more connected to their favorite causes.

As a professional fundraiser, Terri has raised millions of dollars for local and national nonprofits over the last two decades. She brings a refreshing, no-nonsense approach to her work, blending data-driven and creative strategies.

Terri excels in finding hidden opportunities and in coaching fundraisers to achieve greater results. She has served as an adjunct professor in the University of Maine system, teaching students to write successful grants and proposals.

Terri has an MPA in nonprofit management from Indiana University and a BS in communications with an emphasis in video production from Ohio University.

She is working on a screenplay about her life in rural Maine, and she owns a collection of over 100 Kermit the Frogs (a.k.a. The Kermitage). Terri resides in Phoenix with her husband and adopted pets, two cats and a dog.
